Just git'n started!

I am very excited to be posting to this forum (because it means I finally have a wrangler)!

For years I have been very utilitarian in my car purchases, Sierra 2500 HD Diesel to pull a camping trailer, SUV for the family, hybrid car for gas mileage, etc...The closest I came was I had a Jeep Liberty. All good cars in their own right, but when I finally decided to get back to the Jeep line and try out the Wrangler, I find that I couldn't be happier. Not often do I get in a car and go 'Yeah!' Ok, granted, I am only a few months in yet, but still...I don't think I did that much with the others (on occasion with my Sierra after I installed the tuner card for my turbo, perhaps ;-).

Anyway, glad to be here, and hoping to learn more about doing some trails. I am down to one left in the house and then we will be empty nesters, so downsizing is the where we are at. I am probably going to get rid of my 27' trailer and get something that the Jeep can tow (or just a roof-rack tent).

Please be patient with my "noob-ness", I might ask some dumb questions here and there, but I am hoping I can learn from everyone in the process and perhaps meet up with a few of you in the front range area.

Oh, and by the way, my forum name was given to me by my son's friend. We were required to come up with a name for my Jeep to register for the Easter Jeep Safari in Moab, UT, and his friend said, just call it the "FrickinChicken". I tried to get rid of that name, but it seemed to stick. At least that way, I have an excuse when I don't go on something rated 8 on the trails. :-)

Looking forward to gettin' out there!

Thanks for the welcome everyone!

I will try to be as active as I can. I do a lot of traveling and project work, so my schedules get pretty tight at times. Looking forward to meeting new friends and get out and enjoy more of Colorado than I have. I have been here for 20 years, but never seem to stop finding new places and things to do.
