is it a tranny problem?

I recently bought a 94 wrangler and when i switch into third and sometimes fourth gear it grinds a little bit. the jeep only has 94k miles. i have read other posts where some people say that it could be the syncros wearing out, and others saying that it could just be the transmission fluid. if it is just the tranny fluid what should i use to replace it? the guy that owned the jeep before me never did a tune up and i just replaced the oil filter, air filter, fuel filter, spark plugs, wires, distributor cap, distributor button, valve cover gasget, and oil. so i am pretty positive that the tranny oil and brake fluid also need to be replaced. any suggestions?
