Lost and Need advice

I just purchased a 1998 Wrangler for my 17 year old son. We want to put a lift and new tires but are unsure what to buy and if we can do the work ourselves. The jeep is mainly for road use. Not much off roading we just want it to look good. Any advice?

Welcome to the forum! A mod should move this to the TJ section. However, I will help.

Things to consider

How much do you want to spend.
Installing a lift can be fairly easy.

If you just want it to look good, get a budget boost kit for it. These are a dime a dozen and are very reasonably priced. Im biased towards teraflex, so give them a look! Enjoy the Jeep and the lifestyle that comes with it!

Well, I don't have anything to add to what's already been said so well.

I just wanted to stop by and say . . .

Welcome to the forum!
Personally, I stay away from body lifts. You think it is for road use now but the build is like the song, Hotel California.
