Lurker now owner

Been doing some research and snooping around this site. Thanks for all the intel before I made my first Jeep purchase.
Anyway...nice little 2002 TJ with ~177k no rust on body which is kind of rare up here in Massachusetts. Meanwhile the undercarriage has clearly been treated for years with what the PO says to be diesel fuel and bar oil.

Has a hard top and lightly used 2 yo soft top. It€™s all stock save for aftermarket AR black wagon wheels on knobby pro comps. It has good maintenance records and strong i6. The PO also yanked the carpet awhile back and painted the inside floor boards with oil paint- not quite flame red like the body but close (might need to redo with bed liner or undercarriage paint- not sure yet)

Spent about 4 hours cleaning the interior, sniffing around the engine bay, and getting to know the vehicle.
Ordered a bunch of bits to replace broken or missing ones, LEDs for interior courtesy lights, head unit and a pair Polk db652 per all the reviews out there on these.

Looking forward to playing in the snow but even more so to going topless in the summer.

Should be fun.

Ps: got a chuckle while test driving one and a JK owner waved.
