Need Help - Rubi Hardrock

I am new to the site. Please bear with me if I ask stupid questions. Looking for feedback / insight to buildout a 2017 Rubi HR. I live in the City (Chicago) and this will be a weekend toy. It will not be used as a DD and I may go off-roading 3-4x a year (no rock climbing yet). I'd like to have a badass JK and was looking to go with 33" or 35". What are the top 10 mods I should consider when ordering my vehicle? Any recs would be helpful!

Lift, tires, and wheels are highly subjective and will take some good research. For 33-35's, you are probably going to want a 2.5-3.5" lift.

Opar grab handles....cheap and useful.

Also, get yourself some skid plates....I run Smittybilt skid plates, but many on here say go Rock Hard, which are >$1k. Link to the Smittybilt on Qtec.https://www.quadratec.com/products/12157_0004_07.htm

Upgrade your differential covers to HD cover. I run Poison Spyder, but there are plenty of cost effective options...Teraflex, Solid, etc.

These are all great. This will get me started. Now I just need to find a dealer / salesperson that knows what they are talking about! I went to a Jeep dealership this past weekend and they set me up with a 24 year old that didn't know anything! Very disappointing!

Don't feel bad. Most salespeople don't want you to order. They want to sell you what they have on the lot. I have had them tell me you don't need lockers or something else I wanted. If you don't want to listen to me, I am out of here. You may need to visit all the Jeep Dealers around your area until you find one where you are comfortable.

From the factory, if auto, go with the 4.10 gears. HR will have all the other factory options you need.
BUT
If you're ordering a Jeep they no longer make the HR, it's now the RECON.

DCabr : look in the Vendor Section and talk to them. They give forum discounts to members ( I think).

Thanks everyone. I was able to locate a great Jeep dealer after my initial disappointing conversation with a different dealer. I picked up a '17 HR in Rhino. Initial mods in progress...stay tuned for updates...

What is the best way to post an item for sale? I was planning to sell my upgraded radio 430N.
