New from Delaware

Hi everyone.

Today is my first day on the site. As you can tell from the non-creative screen name, I have a JK 75th anniversary 2017. I just purchased it new a few weeks ago.

This is my first Jeep. I have been waiting for many years for my 2000 Pathfinder to kick the bucket so I could get one, and it finally did.

My car background is very different from a Wranger. My history with cars is heavily modifying and loving my 2002 BMW Z3 convertible. Very different, I know.

At this point I think thinking I will keep the JK all stock...famous last words....right?

I will do my best to search before asking questions....but, if anyone wants to answer my first two, you can save me some time!

1) What do people recommend for protecting the top? I have always used RaggTop products and I have tried the 303 products. I have the premium soft top, if that makes a difference.

2) I don't know how available Jeep trails are, but can anyone tell me where I can find a list of them on the east coast?

I am looking forward to getting involved here...

I lived in DE from 83-99 just north of the C&D Canal in Glasgow.

Did A LOT of offroading there on both sides.

I have no idea how much things have changed since then but might be worth a look.

Enjoy your new Jeep!!!!!

Welcome to the forum from a native Delawarean. I grew up in Sussex County about 20 mins from the beach, but moved up to NY in '09 for work. What part of Delaware are you in?

Thanks for the hearty welcome guys!

Old Dogger, it is good to hear that people are fine if you don't do a search prior to asking questions. That hasn't always been my experience on car forums.

I don't see a detailing forum anywhere on here...am I missing it?
