New from Texas!

Hey there guys!
My name is Rani. I'm a 26 year old, F, in Houston TX. Just bought my third Jeep, but she's my first project Jeep.
My first was a 2007 Silver Wrangler JK
Second was a 2005 Wrangler TJ X (the four door was amazing. I loved Wally. )
And now I have Delilah, a 1992 Wrangler YJ. She's got a front lift, and a 12k lb winch. LED lights thru-out the interior, and strobe headlights. She's a bit of a project - She hasn't been super well cared for the last 5 years, although extremely loved. The friend I bought her off of basically considered her a family member. But upkeep wasn't apparently super important. Her shocks are in shambles, so I would like that to be my first real project with her. I have a friend who's willing to help me out, but I would be very interested to hear any input, recommendations, brand suggestions, methods, etc. Anything. I'm not completely clueless with mechanics, but I am a beginner, who's very interested to learn. I want to be able to work on Delilah myself as much as possible.
Thanks guys!
