New Guy

Really Good forum, I have been lurking for a little while. Lots of good information. I bought My 97 TJ a couple of years ago, I haven't really done and modifications YET, but probably will be putting on a small lift kit to get me over the creeks up here. I was living in Washington when I bought her, I primarly wanted it to go up the fire roads and get some good fishing spots that I couldn't reach before. I can't believe I waited so long to get one, I will never own anything other than a Wranger ever again. This is the best vehicle I have ever had. I am getting up in Miles so I know I am going to have to start doing some work on the baby pretty soon. I am hitting 151k so I am looking to change out seals and such. The motor is still running pretty tight for a 2.5L, and I can still tow a good drift boat with it, but I will probably drop in a six cylinder in the next couple of years. anyway glad to be a part of the forum!!

Welcome to the forum.

Where in AK are you (used to live in Kodiak for a while).
My 98 TJ has 147k; just had pinion seals and radiator replaced.
