I'm new to the forum but not to Jeeps.
I've owned an 1981 CJ and 1998 TJ.
All purchased new. I know, I'm getting long in the tooth but not in mind.
Currently I have a 1999 TJ which I'm trading in on a new 2017 Sport JK.
The 17 JK is expected to arrive end of April or so.
I mostly drive on the street now but have done a little off road years ago.
I put a 4" lift, 33" tires, lockers front and back and 4.56 gearing on the 99 TJ. ( Someone else did the work I just pay the bills and drive thing.)
I only intend to add 33's with a small body lift to the 17 JK. Just for the look.
The lift on the 99 TJ made it ride like a tank and the 4.56 gears had it screaming on the highway.
The 17JK may see some beach and snow time but not much else.
I'll be talking to you all over the upcoming weeks.
I need some opinions on wheels and tires to build what I want without messing with the factory ride and highway drivability.
Well, that's my story and I'll stick to it.
