New guy, hoping for some help - Katy,Texas

Hi everyone:

Great forum ! I just returned to the US from overseas deployment. Very happy to find this website and forum.

I'm certainly not a Jeep expert and probably can not give much advice but I will 100% buy beer and go trail-riding with anyone willing !

Lastly, I am hoping to get some help from anyone who can on selling or trading my Hard-top. I'd be willing to trade for a soft top-trek top or just sell the hard-top and then buy a trek top.

I hurt my arm pretty good while overseas and I don't have the strength to put the hard-top on/off so I need a soft top.

Thanks to the admin of this site for a great website and look forward to reading all about Jeeps !

Anyone can message me anytime.

Thank you for your service.

Once you get 15 posts under your belt, you can post in the wanted section.

In the mean time, I just like to say . . .

Welcome to the forum!

Have you thought about a hoist to remove your hardtop? There are a lot of options for that.

Didn't realize that was an option. That might be a fantastic idea. I need to read up on those. I might possibly be able to get 1 installed into the top of my garage. Excellent point !

Woot!! I posted something useful! (I'm kinda new here ;-)..

There are tons and tons of posts, I'd recommend using advanced search:

Jeep Wrangler Forum - Search Forums

Search for hoist in just the thread titles, that should return a plethora of info.

And welcome to the forum!

Yes, very helpful indeed. Big thanks to you. I have a few people posting to me now about different versions of hoisters, so thank you very much.
