New guy in Louisville KY

Been in lowered sports cars and sport bikes for a while and thought it was time for a change in elevation and attitude. Traded a VW and CBR 954RR for an 01 TJ sport last week with a few mods and have some plans. Anyway, I've been wrenching on cars and bikes for years so I hope we can learn from each other.

01 Jeep Wrangler Sport
69000 miles
I6 4.0L
Manual
Soft top (needs replacing)

Mods it came with:
Safari snorkel
K & N Air filter
Warrior Products Safari Rack
ARB bumpers
8500 lbs wench (unsure of the brand but it needs some servicing, Doesn't seem like the clutch is grabbing when its letting the cable out)
33 X 10.5 X 15 BF Goodrich Mud-Terrain T/A's on stock wheels
2" body lift
JVC head unit
Speaker bar (don't know it that's stock or not)

Plans:
Figure out why the heat isn't working
Wire up the spot lights (if I can figure it out)
Lose the body lift and put on a nice 4" suspension lift with adjustable control arms and adjustable track bars
16" X 12" Bead locks and meaty tires
Rhino line interior and bumpers (and maybe the rack)
Decide what kind of tops I want
I'll figure out what else I want to do after these are done.

This is a commuter which will be finding some mud on the weekends.

I have no doubt it will be an addiction. It's already taken over my dreams and thought processes. It's in my blood already. I live in the south end of Valley station where the Gene Snyder and Dixie meet.

Cool! It'll be nice to have more Louisville people on the forum. Maybe once I finally get my lift we can all meet up and do something.

Be prepared to completely drain your savings. I am out in Brandenburg, I'll give you a wave on the Dixie highway on my way up to 4th Street!
