New guy with a not so average wrangler

Hello everyone I know my jeep aint going to be liked by a ton of people. I built it the way I wanted to. I drive it all the time on the street and I like muscle cars so I did my best with a wrangler to fit my needs. also there aint many places close to me to legally go 4 wheeling. With that said here is my jeep.

Welcome to the Forum!! Okay now give us the details...how quick? 4wd? What have you done to the driveline to hold up to the power? There are things we can learn from you that we can use in our rigs. They don't have to all be the same. How about suspension what's going on there?

I think that is one of the best "street" Jeep builds I've ever seen. Nice job!

Wow! Thanks for all the kind replies. I havent had it on the quarter mile yet so I dont know for sure what it will run, it still is 4x4 but I am running a stock np231 from a 91 s10 blazer and a stock dana 30 front axle, so needless to say I dont beat the hell out of it in 4x4. the rear end is a 8.8 ford from a 97 explorer with 4:10s and a posi and disk brakes(I allready blew one 8.8 up)
jeep rear end by sbscwrangler, on Flickr
the trany is a 700r4 that I rebuilt like stock with just a shift kit and I finally blew that up last year it lasted 5 or 6 years. this time around I talked to my friend that builds performace tranys and he got me better clutches and band and new valves for the pump to boost the pressure and there is a small check valve in one of the drums that I replaced with a plug with a small oriface in it and stronger springs for the clutch packs. It feels great now it shifts harder than it ever did so I know its engaging nice and firm before when I was full throttle you could feel it slide a little into 3rd and 4th. as for the suspension I chopped out the leaf springs and made my own triangulated 4 link front and rear with air bags it has a good amout of lift to it the tires on it now are 32 inchs tall I had 35 12.50 18 mud graplers on it before and they cleared no problem. this is it lifted all the way.
