New-ish TJ owner

Got a 2001 TJ for my son about a year ago - ok, I bought it, but it was his money so to be fair, it's his jeep. So far, we've done some repairs...
fixed the transfer case linkage, replaced the A/C evaporator (not a job I'd like to do again any time soon & probably why the PO sold the Jeep but that's another story), fixed the melted A/C switches & wiring at both the fan speed switch & the mode switch, replaced the HVAC fan and resistor while we were at it,
And some cosmetic stuff --- sold the the 2015 Rubicon wheels/tires and replaced with 33x12.5x15's on black ProComp series 97 style; sold the spice colored top and frame & replaced with a black Trek Top; built a stout rock crawler style bumper, and added some light guards.

I do pretty much all the work on our vehicles & this one is a way to spend time with my son. My other son has an '06 Mustang GT that we customized and I have a '76 MGB (little british sports car sort of like a Miata) but I swapped the 1.8L 4 banger for Ford 302 (5.0L) and an independent rear suspension based on Nissan & Chevy parts.

Net, I'm ok around cars, so hopefully will be add to the forum. At the same time, I don't know much about Jeeps -- and next up is addressing his suspension -- I'll post my questions in the TJ section & hopefully we can get that sorted!

Thanks both and don't worry, this Jeep gets driven every day and makes it off road a bit too.
