Thumbs up New Jeep owner.

My name is Todd Meacham. I am 43 years old and I am finally a jeep owner. I have worked on the beach for 22 years and am an out doors kina guy. The Jeep really fits my lifestyle. I love to camp and hunt or just get out to shoot my guns... I have done some small modifications so far and plan on doing some more. I want to focus on performance and save the cosmetic for later. I would greatly appreciate any ideas or insite from you all. I have owned 2 Ford Broncos in the past. I do all the work for my vehicles myself if possible. I am happy to be involved in the Jeep community and look foward to hearing from you all. Thank you !

welcome to the addiction.......JEEP = just empty every pocket

On your mods it depends on what you are going to do with it.

I do moderate to heavy rock crawling with mine....hunting fishing etc etc. Don't like the sand so I stay away from the beach
It's not about getting out of the Storm, but learning to dance in the rain.
When I die I am going to be buried with my Jeep, cause I haven't yet found a hole it can't get out of!!!!!

Seeing how I don't really have rocks on south Florida, I am just going mudding and perhaps some sandy surfaces. I ran her in some deep sugar sand dunes with BF Goodrich TA's and she crawled through it like a champ. My girl kept telling me not to any further, but I didn't listen and made it without any problem... My last Bronco was good like that, but I feel this is even better cuz its even lighter and a shorter wheel base.. I just ordered the superchip flash tuner. I wanted to do an intake as well. Any suggestions? I have always used K&N on my other vehicles?
