New Jeep Owner

I'm new to the forum and to the jeep world. I just got my dream Jeep. I have wanted a Jeep for many years. I got the new 70th anniversary JKU. I'm also looking for a good hoist to use for my hardtop in my garage. (Something that is not going to break the bank.) Any help will be appreciated.

Welcome!

And congrats on your new Jeep! As far as hoists go, I'm in the same boat. Looking at a Harken rig now. May customize it with a crank set from West Marine. Still way less expensive than the Lange.

Welcome to the Forum

Many forum members have built their own hoists on the cheap. Try the search and if (like me) you can't find anything there, post a request in the general forum or builders section.

Thanks for the welcome and the info for the hoist. I let everyone know what I found out and what hoist I'm going to use.
