New Member- Audding Sub and Amp to infinity system

Hi All,

It feels great to be a part of the community!

I recently decided to upgrade my sound system in my 2 door 2011 JK with an infinity system. I purchased 2 Rockford Fosgate 10in P1 speakers in an enclose box which I plan to replace my infinity sub with. I also have a PIONEER GM-D8601 GM Digital Series Class D Amp (Mono, 1,600 Watts and

NVX 100% Copper, 4-Channel True Spec 8 Gauge Amplifier Installation Kit w/ RCA Interconnect and 65 ft Speaker Cable [XKIT84.

I dont want to replace the factory head unit but I am unsure how to wire this all together (specifically what other part I need to tap into the speaker wire/ head unit). From my research I have gathered that I could use an LCO but dont know if I could simply wire the LCO into the speaker wire in the rear that is connected to the infinity amp, or if I would have to take apart the dash and add an AudioControl LC2i 2 Channel Line Out Converter.

Could I use something like a Kicker KISLOC 2-Channel K-Series Speaker Cable to RCA Adapter with Line Out Converter?

To clarify, the only thing I am adding to the system is the sub and amp to replace the infinity systems amp. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Because this is the newbie check-in area, you may not get the answers you are looking for. I suggest you check out this forum area and post your questions there, I think you'll get a better response.
