New member check-in

Chris Butler, Retired US Army.
New to the Jeep community. The last time I drove a Jeep was on my Grand Fathers farm in the mid 60's, a relic from WWII.
I bought a 1998 Wrangler Sahara to tow behind my motor home. It has 125,000 miles on it but most were toad miles.
I am starting to update the look and reliability.

I am a designer and machinist of molds to form plastic trays for medical devices. I have several large CNC mills and make other aluminum stuff for the aftermarket like fire extinguisher quick release mounts and custom cup holders.

I also have several old MG sports cars that I show and customize. One is an MGB with a V-8 conversion and custom suspension.

I also am building a 1939 GMC COE truck as a car hauler, on a 1 ton P-30 chassis on air bags with a '98 454 Vortec V8 and 4L80E trans. Cab extended 45" for a back seat.

Glad to be here.
