New Member - First Jeep

Hey all. Buying my first Jeep after having a Trooper, Expedition and Montero. Considered an Xterra Pro-4x, but I'm getting a great deal on a new JKU. Giving up some options on the Xterra vs. the JKU, but capability of the stock JKU and the resale values finalized the decision.

I would love to have a Rubicon, but I cannot afford or justify the extra cost. I put a deposit on a New 2014 JK Unlimited Sport. It is white in color and only has a few options, but they are the ones I most wanted. It has the Max Tow package with the 3.73 axle ratio, Trac-Lok Rear Axle, Freedom Hard Top, Automatic (So the wife can drive it ) Connectivity Group and SiriusXM Satellite Radio. First mods will be painting the stock wheels and installing some Firestone Destination AT 265/75R16's that are nearly new from my last vehicle. Probably going to get the Quadratec floor liner set. Eventually a small lift, winch bumper and winch.

Flying into Boise from Portland to pick it up and drive it back in the next few weeks. Can't wait to pick it up. This forum is a great resource for general info, mods and advice!

Changed Plans

So I changed my plans and I'm sure I will be much happier Changed vehicles, changed dealers. Yesterday I picked up a 2014 Amp'd JKU Sport with power package, 430 Uconnect, Bluetooth Connectivity, Max Tow w/3.73 gears, Trac-Lok, Hardtop, Automatic. They had a set of take off 2014 Rubicon Mineral Gray Wheels & Tires and I was able to swap for them for a little over $200

Here it is before leaving the dealer to head home.
