New Member from Colorado Springs

Hi,

Just wanted to introduce myself and say hello.

I've been into wheeling for some time, but just ordered a new jeep, so thought I'd join here. Bought my first new jeep in 98 (a Jade TJ) and had it until about 1 1/2 yrs ago when my daughter rolled and totaled it. Since then our wheeling trips have been in our 06 Power wagon. Its an amazing truck, but getting it in some of the places we go Moab, etc, takes a tremendous amount of effort and concentration! It was also excellent for towing our offroad popup and carrying our giant breed dogs. But the time has come for a smaller replacement vehicle.

So, we ordered a Rubicon unlimited (Black Forest Green) last Monday. It already has a VON and VIN, and we hope to get it in about 6-8 more weeks. At that point we'll put on a MOPAR 3" lift, etc, and new AEV wheels with 35s (and hopefully new front and rear bumpers and a warn M8000) and head off to Moab to break it in right. That's what we did in 06 when we got our new Power wagon. We were in Moab on Fins & things, 7 Mile Rim, Top of the world, etc, with temp tags on the truck.

Our new Rubi will join the following Jeeps in our family. My son's lifed 12 Rubi unlimited, my daughter's 97 Cherokee, and my DD 96 JGC.
