Start emptying our wallet. Once you get her dirty, you'll get the itch to start modding

Oh boy, I really hope you're wrong! It's funny because part of the path that led me to getting the wrangler was rock crawling with 1:10 scale RCs. Those things cost lots of money to mod and I guess the full scale crawlers will cost roughly 10x what the scale crawlers cost! But, I'm telling myself it will be fine stock. Except for the swaybar quick disconnects of course....

Ah, I get to impart my "wisdom" again. Simply put, let your wheeling tell you what mods you need, and in what order. That way you just *might* go broke. Otherwise, doing everything because it looks or sounds good and you *will* go broke! Unless you are loaded, then spend away and make me jealous!

Ha, that's funny. Exactly what I did. First week I had my Jeep, signed up for Kyle's RC 101 course. Then went on my first outing. My wallet was toast after that.

I've been planning to take the first RC 101 course available after getting my Jeep, can't wait!

That's solid advice, thanks! I'm trying to maybe not go broke, that would be a nice consequence of getting into the jeep life I think ha. On a related note, are there any 12 step jeep enthusiast recovery groups out there lol!

Same here, I took mine to Wharton, got stuck, realized I needed to learn a thing or two, did 101 and 201 at Rausch Creek, and got out as much as possible since then. And my wallet, too, is toast...
