New member from South Carolina
New here but old everywhere else. I had my Thunderbirds and RX7s early on and moved on to 4X4s: 2 Scouts, a Jimmy, a Cherokee and 2 Grand Chreokees before getting an Explorer and Expedition. Even tried a Mercedes M500, a Toyota Tacoma and a F150. I got a 2012 Explorer with all the electronic stuff to satisfy the grandkids but still needed something for me. A few months ago, I joined the Jeep Wrangler Forum and began my research for a Wrangler just right for me. I learned a lot here and finally decided that a 2004-6 TJ would do it.

I found one last week, and bought it using the knowledge I learned here. It is a 2005 TJ Wrangler X nicely equipped. I got a build sheet from Jeep.com and was very happy to find it is all original. It only needed 1 fuse and 1 bulb to get everything working.

Thanks to this forum, I am ready to enjoy my "just right" jeep.
