Whats up guys. Just bought my first jeep and went ahead and joined the forum. Its a 2006 Wrangler 65 4.0 6spd. Dealer said its a 65th anniversary edition. Jeep 65 is stiched into the seats and floor mats, color matched flares, and thats all i notice different from a regular wrangler but i don't know that much about jeeps yet. From what i can tell its pretty much stock as far as i can tell. Except for some kind of cheap 2" lift(puck type spacer). and polished wheels. And i dont like either. Haha. Ill try and get some pics tommorow if i can get home before dark.

Alittle about me, I live in Salem Va. Im 22, went to wyotech when i was 19 and studied Automotive Tech. and Chassis Fab. I work as a machinist and fabricator. Ive always been into Cars and working on them. And i love music.... Thats about all. Im sure I'll have lots of questions for everyone. Ive already got a few about a dead spot in power after shifting and a very slight vibration/growl with about 50% throttle under acceleration and around 60mph and above. Going to keep searching alittle more on those...

Nice to be on the forum.

Welcome to the forum.

Some info on the 65th edition wrangler......

The Jeep Wrangler 65th Anniversary Special Edition

Based on the X package.

Features include:

SunRider soft top
15-inch Alcoa aluminum wheels
30" x 9.5" Goodyear Wrangler OWL tires
Heavy duty Dana 44 rear axle
Body colored fender flares
Unique center stack bezel
Unique two-tone seat with embroidered Jeep 65 logo
Unique floormats with "Jeep 65" logo
Unique 65th anniversary decal

If your jeep has the Factory ACOLA wheels "the ones you don't like?". You could sell for a decent price. They are a very strong forged aluminum wheel.

As for the "vibration/growl" at 60mph....what gear are you in? RPM?

Its not that i don't like the wheels, i just dont like polished wheels on a silver vehicle. I would like to get some black wheels of some sort.

Im in 6th and 60. Not quite sure what rpm but ill check on the way to work in the morning.

There's simply nothing like a Jeep. It gets into our blood and the addiction overwhelms our very being for the rest of our existing days on the earth. Wow, what a way to go! Glad to have you along for the ride!

Nothing special; No impressive mods; Never going to let it go. No se preocupe. Todo esta muy bien con Dios. (I Corinthians 4:8-9)
