New Member Introduction
On Sunday, I drove home my first Jeep Wrangler - a 1995 Wrangler Sport hardtop with 4.0 liter and a 5-speed. I purchased the Jeep with 115K miles from the second owner who bought it with 6K miles in 1995.
Over the years I have owned several Jeeps, but I consider this my first "true" jeep because it matches the envelope and spirit of the original WW2 vehicles. Below is a list of all the Jeep vehicles I have owned over the years.
1983 Wagoneer -
1981 Wagoneer - rolled transfer case parts donor for 1983 Wagoneer
1988 Grand Wagoneer - First vehicle purchased that did not require extensive work to be made road worthy
1989 Grand Wagoneer - Impulse buy
1966 Gladiator - Original "unfinished project" Jeep still sitting in the weeds
1979 Wagoneer -burned up engine donor for 1989 Wagoneer
1970 Wagoneer - Buick 350 purchased as a drive train donor for Gladiator
1995 Grand Cherokee - "Free Jeep"
1995 Wrangler Sport - One owner Craigslist special with 114K miles
