Hello all and looking to read a ton of stuff here.

Ok so I don't own a Jeep YET and that's because I'm trying to decide between buying new or used and could use some advice.

Im looking for JK Unlimited and price is not a concern other than Im not sure I want a $45,000 new rig to go up on trails and hunting several weeks per year.

I'm kind of leaning towards a older model so i can spend some money on upgrades right away like winch, lift, skid plates etc.

Seems like the choice is pre 2012 has different motor and some minor visual changes or 2012 and newer has different motor.

I think the Rubicon is the clear choice but maybe a Sport would be fine as well.

I live in a suburb SW of Seattle Washington area so lots of Mountain trails and forest service roads close.

Im ready to buy but want to make sure if there is a specific year to avoid or one that is best to build off to know before I buy.
