New Tacoma to New Jeep?

Hello everyone, just joined this awesome site. Well, I literally just bought a brand new Tacoma double cab 4x4 3 weeks ago and honestly....it sucks. Already bringing in to dealer for issues, they have been pretty bad to work with. I've always wanted a JK, should have just bought one sooner but never really stopped and realized....hey, I can afford this.

I'm looking at Unlimited auto 3.73 Sport. I'll be taking in for 2.5" rough country to guy who's been doing this long time and then looking at 33's. I'm budgeting this in and doing it right away.

I don't have jk yet. Going to look today after haggling with 5 dealers. Went through true car site. I'm fighting for under 30k new. Any recommendations? I'm getting pretty good trade being as I just got it. Suprisingly I won't be taking bath for that much in stupid tax. Plus I'll save around 2k if I trade.

Thoughts and comments welcomed. Thank you all in advance!

I was in a similar position last year. Get a 2013 Toyota 4Runner SR5 4x4 or get a 2014 Wangler Unlimited.

I went Jeep because to me, the new 4Runner drove the same as my current (At the time) 2004 4Runner and I wanted something different.

I seriously LOVE my front solid axle and that is a HUGE plus for the Jeep.

Mine has been great since I've owned it and the aftermarket support is OUTSTANDING. Also JKs will 1. get cheaper with the new JLs, and 2. aftermarket parts for JKs will probably become cheaper in the next few years.

I love mine, I recommend getting one!

You will not regret getting a JK. I love mine and look forward to driving it everyday. Go for it!

I agree with dabolt. Check out what the 2.5" looks like with various tire sizes before you finalize your decision.
