Thumbs up New to Forum

Hey everyone!

I've always wanted a Wrangler ever since the YJs came out, but it took a while to convince myself that I needed one. In 2012 my wife convinced me that we should get a Wrangler once she found out how much that I've wanted one. So we purchased a Crush orange 2012 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited. Been having fun since.

I have been lurking on the forum for about 4 years now. Just reading the threads. Looking forward to participating more in the future.

New too!

New to forum also. Reading posts to find out in's and out's. Lots of good info.

Just purchased '98 TJ. My first. Frame has been welded by PO. - one spot. Hope it doesn't come back to bite me. Has some rust around body mounts but from what I can tell no serious rot. Is there something simple I can do to keep it from getting worse?
Also, PO put 2 1/2 lift with 31's on stock steel wheels. Tires rub just at end turn radius. Will wheels with 3.75 /4 back spacing fix it? What if I upgrade to 33's? Will that new bs keep it from rubbing? Looking for stocky stance. Wide not high.

Thanks
