Smile New (to me) 1991 Jeep YJ Islander

Hi, Sarasota here, first time Jeep owner! I just picked up an original, unmolested 1991 Jeep Wrangler Islander in Turquoise. It has a new soft top and bikini top. I want to keep it as original as possible but it needs a new windshield and frame so any suggestions on the best place to order that kit would be appreciated. Also suggestions for aftermarket mirrors for when the doors are off (door hinge mounted maybe?), spare wheel cover, tires, snug fitting seat covers (?) since I saw a LOT when I was looking that were really sloppy. And really any basic advice on being a Jeep owner and any groups in my area. I'm not planning on any serious off roading, it's more of a fun weekend vehicle for beach, fishing, dive gear, kayaks, dog taxi, etc. It has a fairly heavy duty rear bumper with a square hitch slot and double chrome bars mounted to the top of the front bumper, not sure of their purpose, but they come up to almost hood height.

Thanks in advance, happy to be joining the Jeep community!!

Peter.

As mentioned, because this is the newbie check-in area, you may not get the answers you are looking for. I suggest you check out this forum area and post your questions there, I think you'll get a better response.

Welcome!

Like the others have said, post in the YJ section for the best help.

The YJ cheap/easy mods thread might help you find mirror options.
