Sup dudes, I own a 2015 wrangler 4 door sport. Gotta say I love it but I've hit a problem. I want to lift it an all for better off-road experience however my jeep is as stock as you can get. Would it be cheaper to just trade it in for a rubicon an than lift it or invest the money

I had the same dilemma, which was solved when I got a great deal on my 2015 JKU.

Lifts, as far as I know, will cost the same for a Sport or a Rubicon. So that's moot.

The question becomes, is the added expense worth it to you for the differences?

The only thing I would have really liked to have had would have been the Rubicon transfer case. The other Rubicon 'upgrades' I could do without or would be updating anyway, so the additional cost of a Rubicon was not worth it 'for me'. For example, I don't care if I have push-button sway-bar disconnects and I will probably be doing an axle re-gearing anyways eventually.

I'd stay with what you have and upgrade. Even if you, like I, have 3:21 gears it would still be cheaper just to re-gear.

Hope that helps,
The Bane
