New with a Yj from Fresno, Ca

Hello everyone, My name is Jon and I had the great pleasure of purchasing a 1991 yj yesterday from a local of fresno. The jeep is pretty darn cool, in a rustic way, I will try to get some pictures of it up. The beep is stock for the most part, i will be needing to put a new radio in it because the old one go ripped off , so that is my project today, then tomorrow Im thinking about going down to irvine with it to see some friends. I am so excited about being part of the Jeep owners community, before even driving 2 blocks out of the residential maze i bought it in, I saw another Jeep driving past, he rose his hand and I rose mine and that right there made the whole thing worth it x2! I look forward to the days in pismo we will have with this thing, now keenly named "Old Greg". So thats about all right now. any tips or advice I am more than open to open up to that.

Thanks,
Jon Neely

Also, I am looking for some full doors for the jeep, It came with only one half door, but with a hard top, this will be using in a very snow filled environment so any lines on some full doors or the second half passenger and driver side bottom and top would be great!

After 15 posts you can post in the Wanted section, otherwise keep checking craigslist. Sacramento and the Bay Area usually have whatever you may need.

thanks for all the worm welcomes, I will be sure to wave at fellow jeep owners. Local people look for a rugged white jeep, probably no doors until winter hits, and a cigar or pipe in the mouth, that will be me...
