newbie

I'm new to the offroad scene. I intend to turn a jk 4dr into a combo road/offroad. I don't know if it's possible but only one way to find out. Never done anything like this before but, I'm a fast learner and can build almost anything. so I hope you more exp people don't mind if I pick your brains a little (or a lot). This should be fun. Thx

I knew about this before I bought my first Jeep. I didn't believe it until I looked at my bank account.

Yeah, I had a feeling it would be like that. But hey, There's worse thing we could spend our money on. I say if it brings you pleasure then go for it. If not then why bother bustin' your hump out there.

tires

I keep reading about 33inch and up tires. Any sites that I have gone to only offer up to 20inch tires. Where the devil do you get such tires?

Umm... 20" wheels are the metal parts. Tires are the rubber parts.

If your running stock rims you can go 285/70/17 or 315/70/17. Which would be a 33 and 34 inch tires

Sorry for my ignorance. It'll take a little time to grow some brains about this stuff but, I'll catch on. In the mean time if I ask a dumb question just look at me and smile and back away slowly. I promise I'm harmless. Really though I appreciate everyone's help.

We've all been there. On a lot of things, I'm still there.
