Newbie From Colorado with newbie ?'s, ( sorry )

I have been around some very well built rock crawling Jeeps, so I am failure with Jeeps to a extent. I am receiving a 2001 TJ 6 w/ auto, from the mother in law, and am wanting to go the "mall crawler " direction, hence my 2 questions.

I know that this has been answered numerous times, but I am wanting to clarify ( Thank you all in advance ). 1) If I went with the Pro Comp 4 Inch Lift Kit with ES3000 Shocks - K3056B ( on 4wheelparts.com ) would I need to extend the drive shaft? There won't be anything besides a dirt road in our future? So no crawling over boulders or anything. 2) Am I able to run a 2" body lift WITH the 4" as well? It is a Automatic trans, and I see that both kits have some type of "extensions" for the auto.
I have personally installed 2 lift kits, one on a XJ and also a F-150 IFS, so I'm " knowledgeable " of the process, but since I'm not going to be flexing at all, I was wondering if that would make any difference in the " over 3.5 " rule?

Thank you all again for the help!

4" suspension lift plus 2" body lift for mall crawling? Might want to address the JK crowd. They will try to sell you on 20" wheels and any number of led lights. Most led lights win their mall crawl competitions.....we are told.

I know, I know. It's almost sacrilegious. But no lights for me. Was just looking for the best route to squeeze 35's. But after posting in the right thread and getting some useful information, we will just stick with a 4.5 combo and 33's and actually have some fun with it. The jeep is in great condition, and the best part FREE!!!! Didn't want to go to hard on it straight out of the box. That is a funny comment tho. Have a good one!!!
