newbie from ozi land :)

hey everyone, im from australia and i was just woundering how easy is it to remove the hardtop from a 1998 tj ?? is it a 5 min job or a 30 minute job. also does a lift kit affect the ride on normal roads alot ?? or is it just abit harder then ussual ?

Welcome! Depends on the lift kit, I think generally it does ride a bit rougher than usual, but I have heard numerous cases of getting actually a better ride. The hardtop would need more than one person, not sure about time because I've never had one, but I don't see it taking more than 10 minutes.

Welcome to the forum! The hardtop can be off in 5 to 10 min, only have two latches up front , 3 bolts along each side (6 total) and dis-connect the wiring harness in the left rear corner (if it has rear wiper and defrost)! I have taken mine off and put it on by myself, but it is a lot easier with help!
I can only please one person a day and today is not your day and tomorrow is not looking good either!
