Newbie from Texas

It's been a long dream of mine to own a Jeep, and recently, I have finally become an owner.

2002 TJ Sahara, 4.0 (damn good engine, and not just in Jeeps either, IMO)

I have already found a wealth of knowledge on this forum, and look forward to keep learning so I can eventually contribute.

I am from the DFW area, and from what I have seen, North Texas lacks OHV trails, so I am interested to hear from anyone who is familiar with the area.

Right now my ride is pretty much stock. except a few things, such asa custom Borla Exhaust system, D44 rear end (presuming he/she paid for the upgrade) and 31" BFG All Terrains. Im not looking to go extreme with this as it's my daily ride, but definilty interested in taking it out for fun. Used to roll around the mountains with friends in Denver back in '99 early '00, been hooked ever since.

Thanks y'all!

Welcome. You can tell if it is the 44 by the drain plug. Check it out as well as the gear ratio while you are down there. It is on the metal tag at the 9:00 position.

Thanks all y'all. A couple of quick replies to some people..

@530ktm, yeah, its a d44 (i thought all TJs came standard with the 35, with 44 optional) however, i cannot find the metal tag at 9 o'clock. Maybe under all the gunk ??

@Billy_yj , yeah thats my cat, my Dane wasn't in the photo op mode, and the cat pretty much owns everything, including the dog.

Again, thanks for the welcoming.

Welcome to the family! Jeeps are more than just a vehicle it truly is a way of life, and a way of emptying the bank account.

Anyways, welcome again from another Texas jeeper (i'm down here in Houston).
