Newbie from West Coast of Canada

Hi!

I currently drive a 2014 Willys (4 door, hard top, automatic, Anvil) that has had a whole lot of issues from the get go and it makes me incredibly sad as I love Jeeps!! The jeep was bought brand new and I had great plans for it that have not been realized

I am seriously looking at trading it in for one of the last 2018 Willys JK editions still left out here but would love some opinions on this. I have even held off on mods, wheeling etc due to the issues of the last 4 years. The local dealer is bringing in one of the last ones for me on Friday and so would love to hear about any other experiences before I make the decision of new vs keeping what I have....have had other jeeps so understand fully that they all have some "issues" lol

I have posted in the Willy's Wheeler thread as well for list of "issues". Any thoughts or opinions would be greatly appreciated from the wealth of knowledge and experience

Cheers!

If you have a vehicle that always has issues, and you can't trust it, and it's keeping you from doing things from mods to trips, then it's time to un-ass it. Trade it on the 2018 and don't look back.

has had new rad, new rear diff, 12 new sets of full seals due to HUGE leak, new rear gate mechanism, all paint chipping and now stalling as a few issues.... Only has 54000 kms on it (33 750 miles). Not new to jeeps but this seems a bit excessive...now worried that the leak affected the wiring in the dash (touch screen and blue tooth not working correctly either)

Thanks for the advice

First... Welcome! My wife’s from Edmonton.
I’ve had 5 jeeps. And one was a lemon. Sold it and got another. Good luck

Because this is the newbie check-in area, you may not get the answers you are looking for. Posting in the Willys Wheeler thread is the best place (or just in the JK area in general)

In the mean time, I just like to say . . .

Welcome to the forum!
