Newbie Here

Hello everyone! Im new here and a new jeep owner. I bought my first jeep last december and am lovin every min of it. I got myself a 2010 jeep sahara unlimited. Ive had a few issues so far but tryin to get em fixed. I have water comin in from under passenger door when its raining. Jeep dealer said my doors need adjusting. I kinda hope this works cuz My doors rattle when I hit a bump so I put duct tape on the door latches and it quits rattling. Not really my cup of tea considering how much $$ I paid for Jersey. ( my jeeps name). Can anyone give me any ideas?? Thanks Tammy

Welcome Tammy! Door adjustment can be a simple process of loosening the hinge bolts and then moving the door to where it seals all the way around and then re-tightening the hinges. How is the weather stripping on that door?

Mac

be careful adjusting the door, when you crack the bolts loose it will want to fall and could easily get scratched up. When I did the doors on my YJ I loosened the bolts but did not remove them. Then I alligned the door and shut it tight at the latch. Then snugged the bolts back down. If you can wait and want to try it, have a second person lock the bolts down while you hold it in place. Or visa-versa...

And, Welcome to the Forum!!!
