Have owned a few Grand Cherokees but no offroad experience. Just bought my first Wrangler and looking forward to putting it to use offroad here in rural Virginia. I purchased a Unlimited Rubicon. Has upgraded package for trail riding but otherwise would like some advise as to how to proceed from here. Such as how and when to use locking differentials and sway bar disconnect. Probably going to take an offroad instuction course but thought I would tap into the forum for advice. Thanks.

Welcome! You can find all the answers to your questions here, there are very helpful people here with tons of experience. You need to find a Jeep club in the area where you live. They will be a great hands on guide on trail rides. Our club always has newbies joining and we put a couple of skilled Jeeps with them and take our time starting with easy trails and start teaching them. It is just the Jeep way. You now belong to a special group and Jeepers are the best! Don't forget the Jeep wave.
