Newbie Trying to buy

Hey everyone I am very commited to buying a Wrangler, however i am just getting out of college and therefore broke. I've been looking into used jeeps a lot and i was just wondering if there is anything important i should look for, anything i should ask the owner or any useful advice in general i need to make a purchase.

Welcome to the Forum

One thing to watch out for living in the land of salt and sand is rust. Check floor wells and frame.
I always recommend buying as close to stock as possible which not only enables you to build it the way you want but to know that it was done properly. That being said, if you do decide to buy a modified rig, try to get as much info as you can about what has been done and what products were used to modify it.
Go for the 4.0 over the 2.5.
If you find something of interest post it here in the forum and others will be able to tell you if it's worth the money.
