Old Jeeper with new toy

Hello All. While not new to Jeeps I am new to this forum. I have been lurking for a while and would like to participate in the discussions. I have owned about a dozen Jeeps so far, starting with my first, an old Army surplus 1959? that I got for $50 as a teenager in the 70’s for hunting and play. The brakes went out so I welded a railroad rail for a front bumper so I could run over small trees to stop if needed. That was one of my first mods to the Jeep. I have advanced some since then and now have working brakes on all my vehicles 😊 I currently own a 1982 CJ5, which I completely restored, 1996 XJ, and the latest addition is my first new Jeep, a 2017 JK Sport. With all the electronics and technology I have found myself searching for solutions and the Wrangler Forum seems to always have the best answers. I look forward to getting to know everyone and contribute my 2 cents when I can.
