Hello All from Upstate NY
I had a 2001 TJ, then a 2009 JK Rubicon, and now for my final build a 2017 JKU Recon.
(Purchased Aug 2018)

Over the past few years I have been more involved in researching, learning from mistakes, watching countless YouTube vids, and Jeepin' on mild to moderate trails.

Planning on taking this build the whole 9 yards.
However, I do not have unlimited funds like some so it will take awhile, but this is now more than a hobby, I'm officially an enthusiast.

Hope to get to know some of you and maybe ride to MOAB, Rubicon Trail, etc.

Where in up state? I’m in Newburgh, new to being a Wrangler owner. What mods do you have planned?

Just South of Saratoga Springs.
I joined CDJW about 6 months ago and it's a good group of people.

Plan on making a serious weekend warrior, but it's a daily driver. Plus I use it for work - Field Service for railroad operations - sometimes remote.

This will probably be a 6-8 year project.
Major electrical, 3.5" lift, 35/37 tires, Goose Platform, Compressed Air, probably some transmission upgrades with lift and tires, Superchips, rack, winch, lights, etc. It'll be fun!

My last JK was a mild build, but I learned a lot and now I get to start fresh.

How long is it to Newburgh, about 45 mins right?

I will..........probably be starting a 'Log' soon, so to speak.

Going from the 09' to 17' was a major jump and love it.
Couldn't wrap my head around the JL.

I’m honestly not sure how far away it is but 45 min is pretty close.

Just FYI, but there is a Jeep sponsored event at Malta Speedway tomorrow.
It's centered around pet adoption, the club I'm in organized it, band, raffles, food/drinks and all proceeds will be given to APF.
