Ordered first Jeep

For past year or so I have been drooling to buy manual transmission Jeep. Finally ordered it on May 2nd. This is going to be my first Jeep. I have been reading lot of information on this forum which helped me with my purchase. Below is the build that was ordered.

Unlimited Rubicon Hard Rock
Hypergreen Clearcoat
Dual Top Group
Side air bags and automatic air conditioning

I am located in Stamford, CT.

As first mod, I intend to replace head and fog lights with JW speakers black ones. I wanted to change front turn signals, fender lenses, tail lights and third brake light with recon's smoked LEDs but I read about reliability issues with recon and wondering if I should go with recon, choose something else or stay with stock. Any help would be appreciated. Other than this, want to get boom mat hard top insulation and hitch bike rack from Quadratec.

Audio upgrade and getting Alpine's new X109-WRA with cameras would be my next mod.

I have never done off-roading before but would like to try mild/beginners version. Depending on how it goes I will later check possibilities of lifts and suspension mods. Any places around CT/NY/NJ for trying this out?

Because this is the newbie check-in area, you may not get the answers you are looking for. I suggest you check out this forum area and post your questions in one of the forum's regional areas, I think you'll get a better response.
