Our Very First Wrangler

Hello Everybody,

My wife and I just got our first Wrangler, a 2016 Unlimited Black Bear Edition. Everything is factory right now except a cover in the back for the dog and the summer top. I've been a Ford guy my entire life and drive an F150 and I do a lot of mods and maintenance myself but less and less these day.

Where's the best place to look for some basic tips, tricks and how-to's? Looking specifically for max tire size for factory wheels (17 x 7.5) and thinking about doing a 2" lift and what would be needed and what is involved in doing that.

Thank you all!

Sincerely,

Real Quiet

Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!

I've been on enough forums to know that sometimes people get upset when people ask questions that seemingly have simple answers but trying to search for the exact term and get the best thread is not always guaranteed.

Did I already say Thank you? Well, Thank You!!!

The 2 door in the pics below is a 2.5" lift LINK, 315/70/17 Duratrac on the factory Willys wheel with 1.75" spidertrax spacers.
Completely happy with this set up.

Good luck!

Congrats and welcome to the Wrangler Family. It's in your blood now. But, that's an awesome "Condition" to have as you will come to know and enjoy.
