Previous Jeep Owner - Orlando

Good afternoon all,
Decided to join the Wrangler forum...I was a previous owner of a 93 YJ 4.0L. I do miss it and that's why I joined. I'm in the market for a Jeep. Problem is that I'm conflicted on getting an old rig or opting for a TJ or JK. I've been shopping around and have found a couple YJ's that have interested me as well as some TJs(actually LJs). Any opinions or thoughts are appreciated. The Jeep is most likely going to be a 2nd vehicle that will split time as a daily driver.
Here are examples of what I found:

1) 1995 YJ 4.0L 5 spd - Stock, no lift, new paint, drives well, AC not working currently, interior is a little rough/some gauges broken, plain wheels/rims. new soft top, needs rear seat belts. I took it for a test drive and it's just like I remember. Price is at $7,500. I think this is high. Thoughts?

2) 1993 YJ 4.0L 5 spd - Has a lift, probably 2" with extended shackles I think. Will have new paint, Some of the body needs rework(hammered out) and is included, 31 inch BFGs on black rims(about 5-8K life left), AC but not working currently, Tranmission is being rebuilt. I checked out the body/frame and no rust. New Soft top. Haven't test driven due to transmission. Price is at $6950. Leaning towards this because I can choose my paint color....thoughts?

3) 2005 LJ 4.0L 6 spd - Hard top, Black on black, inside looks a bit rough, but haven't seen in person, step bars - Priced at $12,991

4) 2006 LJ 4.0L 6 spd - Hard top, Black on black, clean inside - Priced at $12,500.

No car payment is great and that's why I'm leaning towards a YJ again. And the fact that I used to own one. I know the LJs have certain comforts the YJ doesn't, so that's why I had interest. I can keep going on and on....if this needs to move to another section, please advise. I'm hoping to be a Jeep owner again soon! Old pic of my 93 is attached.

Thanks in advance and glad to be here!

I have had a 2004 TJ, 2010 JKU and currently a 2006 LJ. I like the extra room of the LJ. I also like the 4.0 in the older Jeeps. I have been very happy with the LJ.

Welcome to the Forum! I'm a happy YJ owner - no payments, easy to work on, and lots of parts available (original and aftermarket). Oh, and my insurance equals about $15 a month.

Good morning all! With a little time and patience, I found my 94 YJ and picked it up Sunday night. Drove home with a smile from ear to ear!
