Problem solved

We drive an 04 wrangler unlimited. Put a short lift kit on for my wife last week. As we were leaving the house, I was traveling a bit fast due to being in a rush. We hit a big dip in the road and as luck would have it we were dead on the road. Jeep cut out and would not start. After several hours during the week looking for what might have happen. The problem was found. Over the rear axle is where the loom to the gas tank runs. Maybe not a real good design. It did not look damaged at first glance but after tracking the wires, it was found that we hit bottom so hard that the upper spring mount came up and caused the loom to be severed due to being pinched between the spring mt. and one of the rear floor cross members all four wires, clean cut. We don’t off road much but I am thinking that the loom may need to be routed a bit differently.
