Received my JL Sahara (need help with after market wheels & tires)

Hi Everyone, I just purchased a new JL Sahara with all options except navigation/upgraded stereo.

I can't be happier with it (I love my new toy). As I always do with my cars and now with my first jeep I want to change the wheels & tires. But since I've never owned a jeep or a truck I'm going to need some help from this forum.
The wheels I want only come in the following sizes:
17"×9" (offset -12")
20"×9" (offset -0")
20"×12" (offset -44")
A friend told me that I should go with the following set up..20×12 (offset -44") with toyo 35X13.50R20 open country tires

What I'm worried about is how much this combo might make my tires stick out past the fenders.

Attached is a picture of a jeep I saw today that shows the look I'm after.

Please help me as I want to pull the trigger on the wheels and tires right a way.

Thanks
Jose (JKR)

to the Forum..

Congrats on your Wrangler purchase!

17"×9" (offset -12")=4.5 Back space. This will give you the look, plus will be the best for both on Highway and off Road.

Many on the Forum run this combination..

Congratulations

Sorry can not help with the tires but think the new Jeep looks great. Just picked up exact same one on Friday. Enjoy.
