Shopping for my first Jeep!

I'm lost in the sea of Wranglers. Things I need: 4d, 6 cylinder, blue tooth, usb, hard top, if possible 2 zone climate control (for the dogs), heated seats, leather. I'm not going to be crawling or heavy off roading just trails. So what should I be looking for? Thanks
PS. I have been dreaming of a Jeep Wrangler since I was 16, I'm now 52 and finally getting one!

What should you be looking for? Well, that's a tough one for anyone else to say. Of the 3 main models of Wranglers (Sport, Sahara & Rubicon) you may want to check out what fits best for you. The Rubicon has more options for off-roading, the Sahara has more creature comforts and the Sport is the base model. I'd suggest you check out our JK and JL sections since you said you wanted a 4-door and see what works for you.

In the mean time, I just like to say . . .

Welcome, my long life as a TJ owmer has come to an end. My 2004 TJ needs an engine overhaul and living on SS puts it out of my range. I plan on posting it on this forum in the near future.

Welcome to the forum!!! Scratch that itch and take that list to a dealer. Get the one one you like the most and can afford then enjoy. Yes it is that simple.

I want to do some modifications to it so I need the minimum. I'm going to paint it with Kevlar or something like that, tighten the steering, sound dampening and more. I'm thinking JL but not sure between the Sahara or Rubicon. 4d hard top is a must.

Welcome

I was similar to you in wanting a Wrangler when I was 16, then along came life and
that got put on the back burner. At 50 I finally bought my first wrangler and now
4 years later I traded it in and got a Wrangler Rubicon.

My advice is to get the one you really want the first time. Then have fun with it.
Mod it, paint it, do whatever you want, and enjoy it, you waited for it a long time.
JDLouisville and KevinW like this.
