So new I don't even have it yet.

Newbie here. About to purchase my first Jeep. Built some trucks in the past but always wanted a Jeep. Here is what I should be getting next week if all goes well. I wanted to see what yall think about the deal. 1987 Wrangler with hardtop and bimini top. No visible dents (yet). good paint (dark purple?). I have driven it and lookd it over. This what I know has been done. 350 chevy crate truck engine headers and fairly new exhaust. nv4500 5spd (cast iron) whith hydraulic clutch, atlas twin stick tcase. stock axles I believe to be dana 30 and 35. 4 round after market lights 2 on hood 2 on front bumper. New aluminum rad with elec fan. dual battery tray with one red optima battery and one off brand. 8000 lb warn winch with warn front and rear replacement bumpers/guard. New white face gauges.. 35 inch tires with after market rims. 4 inch new leaf lift. I have been told 4:56 gears with detroit locker. It runs extremely smooth compared to other (about 3 other) jeeps i have ridden in and one other I have actually driven. All this for $4,500. Only visible problem needing attention now is a very small rear seal leak. One piece seal. Is price fair should I talk him down.

That's a great price for how much is into it. I mean the freakkn engine swap cost him more than that I bet. There is 800 in tires there f they are half decent. And if it runs nice and is clean. Go for it.

Thanks for the response. I'll take 4500 and start at 3800. I'll post pics when I get it.
