Soon to be Owner

I look forward to joining the ranks of Jeep ownership. I am currently negotiating a trade in with my Miata for a new Rubicon to be built. I am looking at white with a black roof and a 6 speed manual. The only option that I will get is the towing package and a hardtop; keeping manual windows and locks. I am going to leave it stock and it will be my daily driver. I should finalize my deal on Friday.

If I am going to leave it at a bus stop a couple days a week would you get locking hood latches?

Thank you

I have a similar question. Have never posted (just joined the forum). I work down town and don't park in a secured lot. I think I will get the locking hood latches.

On 12/26 I ordered a new Rubicon; 6-speed manual in white with a black hard top. I did not order anything else, no power windows or locks not an upgraded stereo. I kept the stock 3.73 gears because I will be running it on the street 98% of the time. I should get it in 6-8 weeks. This will be a change from a Miata.
