Haven't found my first Wrangler. Not sure how how much longer I can wait. Every time I notice one drive by, I feel a tug on my heart strings.

Welcome to the forum... I looked for over a year to find my current rig. Found it at the least expected time and place.. I found her at a Cadillac dealership after I walked out of another when they tried to change the agreement we made on the phone. Some say, "the right Jeep will find you."

I wouldn't suggest sitting on the couch eating potato chips until one parks itself in the driveway, but she'll/he'll talk to you when it's right.

Good luck and remember the Jeeper wave,

Jeff B.

Thank you all for the warm welcome. I've always been interested in this "style" of Jeep ever since I saw my (now) Stepdad pull up in his 42 Jeep Willy, 40 years ago. He still has it, although it's now been (unfortunatly) parked in the garage, under a tarp for over a decade...

Pretty sure FLEX is right. I was about to buy a Mazda CX-5 (was also looking at Wranglers at the time) and a buddy of mine sent me a link to a JKU that a Toyota dealership had just gotten in (he recommended the dealer from past experience). It was still new to their inventory so there wasn't much info; had some stock picture of a light green JKU. Decided to stop by after work and look at it and it turned out to be a 2016 Sarge 75th Edition. Bought it a couple days later. Still basically stock but it's great so far being my daily driver and I absolutely love it. Mods will come eventually...

Honestly that's probably the best way to start. That way it's totally your own.

Don't forgot to post pics if you get it!

Taking it to my mechanic this morning for his opinion, before i signing on dotted line. I agree stock is probably a good thing, and I can just add what I want. I'm so nervous though, worried that after I purchase (if I purchase) I'll find out that what I want to do, or expensive part I got, can't be done/put on model/trim I bought. So many different styles.
