The Day Has Finally Arrived!

Hello All,

The day has finally arrived where I'm proud to say I'm a jeep owner! 2004 Jeep Wrangler Sport to be exact. Needless to say, there are many things I have yet to learn about what it means to be a jeep owner. I realize there are, and have been posts like this in the past, but I'm too excited to be apart of this community and would like to get to know fellow jeep owners!

I'll leave you all with a question I would like you guys to comment on (but by all means don't feel obligated; just drop by for a hello/introduction if you want).

What's something you wish you would have known when you acquired your first jeep?

Welcome to the Jeep club. Please do wave at other Jeepers.

Thing I wish I knew when I bought my first Jeep......modding is expensive and it never ends once it starts. Don't be afraid to look for good used items when modding. Also, I wish someone had told me how nice it was riding without the top and doors off (not on, like it first read). It took me 3 years to first take the doors off of my '04 TJ, and the only time I put them back on is when it rained or got cold.

It's funny that you mention that because there's already something I want to buy for it but I'll do my best to look for deals or refrain entirely!

I was slightly skeptical about taking off the doors first thing but maybe here in a week or two I'll do it!

It's an addiction for which there is no cure! I'm on Jeep # 14 now and looking for the 15th one. Also, decide what your ultimate goal is BEFORE you buy stuff. I started with a BB and 31's on my first Jeep. That lasted about 3 months before I started changing everything and going to 35's. Now it's 35's from the start and a whole lotta money.
