TJ in Fort Collins, CO

Hey guys,
Figured I should finally say hi. Been a forum member for awhile, but never really posted. I just recently finished a rebuild and lift on my 2003 TJ, and used this place tons when I ran into problems. Definitely want to join the discussion now!

I'm in Fort Collins, CO, always looking for some local wheeling buddies.

I have a 2003 TJ X, 4.0L/auto. Was my dads old Jeep, he bought it new. He passed it on to me when I moved to CO last year from San Diego, figured it would get more use out here (which it does). Had been maintained well it's whole life, and always in Southern CA (mostly Inland Empire area, which is basically desert), so never any rust. It was T-boned at an intersection somewhere around 2010 or so, and is a salvage title. Just body damage, and was fixed so well you'd never know it.

Around November last year, the tires were worn out, it needed new u-joints, brakes, shocks, and a massive tuneup. I used this opportunity to finally lift it and get started on an off-road build. I was using it a ton off-road in the local mountains last summer to get to fishing spots, and needed more ground clearance for sure.

Ordered everything in December, and tore it down in early January. Took me a couple months, but she's all dialed in now and ready for the spring/summer here.

Went with a Rough Country 4" X-Series lift, SYE, CV rear driveshaft, Tattons front driveshaft, JKS adjustable front track bar. New ball joints, u-joints on front axle, serviced both axles, tuned up the motor, etc. 33x12.5" General Grabber A/T's on American Racing Baja rims.

Anyways, here's some pics. Happy to answer any questions on the lift if anybodys looking at one.

See you guys around!

Trying again. Do the IMG tags need to be all caps? Let's see...

Welcome to the party, OP! I'm just down the street in Loveland, waiting for some parts to get some maintenance done to get out on the trails.
